Headline then published two blockbuster historical novels as Pauline Bentley. I then became Alison Stuart and wrote six London Sagas. For several years I also wrote a regular How To page for The Writing Magazine and Writers News called Pauline Bentley's Twenty Steps. For the last ten years I have been published as Kate Tremayne writing the highly acclaimed bestselling LOVEDAY family historical Series. I live on the coast in West Sussex with my husband and have two children and six grandchildren and a springer spaniel.

I just finished reading the eighth book, LOVEDAY REVENGE. Throughout the series, I observed the interesting names that you have selected for your characters. Not until this book, however, did I really notice the interesting names that you have chosen for the ships. Having Marsh name his ship "Revenge" was a stroke of genius! I think that, in a way, the ships that Adam designs/constructs are characters too. Now, I have the joy of starting LOVEDAY SECRETS. Tesco customers are in for a big treat! Thank you for your comments Marilyn. They are always stimulating. It reminded me how much head scratching goes on when I have to find names even for minor characters. I hope you like the revelations in Secrets.
